Join a global leader in supply chain solutions as a Transport Supervisor for our Doncaster site, dedicated to serving our key client, B&Q. In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence by ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective management of all transport activities.

Missions principales

• Lead and develop a high-performing operational team, fostering a positive and motivating work culture.
• Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage driver and vehicle rotas to optimize resource allocation and operational flow.
• Ensure strict adherence to all legal, health, safety, and security regulations.
• Monitor and manage operational budgets to maintain cost-effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with inter-site teams to ensure logistical synergy.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience in transport supervision or logistics management.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to safety and compliance.
• Flexibility to work a 48-hour rotating shift pattern (06:00-16:00 or 09:00-19:00).
