Trust Doctor – Integrated Sexual Health (ST1-2)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trust Doctor (equivalent to ST1‑2) to join our Integrated Sexual Health service on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, extendable to 12 months, starting August 2026. The post is based at the Sir Ludwig Guttmann Centre in Stratford, Newham, and offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in genitourinary medicine and community sexual and reproductive health.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centred care in integrated sexual health clinics across two Centres of Excellence and satellite sites.
• Provide contraception, STI testing, and sexual health advice, including level 3 cases.
• Participate in evening and weekend clinics as part of a six‑day service schedule.
• Engage in teaching, training and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Work under supervision while developing independent clinical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with NHS experience (general or specialist).
• Motivated to pursue a career in genitourinary medicine or community sexual health.
• Willingness to start in August 2026 and work onsite in East London.
• Ability to handle a diverse patient population and varied clinical presentations.
