University Preparation Maths Teacher (Part‑time)

About the role

EF International Language Campus Oxford is seeking a part‑time University Preparation Maths Teacher to deliver AS/A‑Level mathematics (and potentially physics or accounting) to students preparing for university. The role starts 13 April 2026 and involves up to 20 hours of classroom teaching per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging maths lessons following EF’s blended‑learning curriculum.
• Teach additional specialist modules (Physics/Accounting) when qualified.
• Plan, prepare and adapt lesson materials for KS3/KS4 and A‑Level students.
• Monitor attendance, assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Facilitate testing, maintain academic records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
• Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings and professional‑development sessions.
• Contribute to a collaborative academic team and support students through tutorials.

Required profile

• BA (or higher) in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• Teaching or tutoring experience in any setting.
• Right to work in the UK at the start of employment.
• Clean DBS check and two professional references.
• Passionate, proactive and able to adapt to diverse student needs.
• TEFL/CELTA qualification is desirable but not essential.
