Vehicle Technician – Automotive Service

About the role
We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join the service team at Mercedes‑Benz of Carlisle. You will work in a modern, safety‑focused workshop, delivering repairs and maintenance on a range of premium vehicles while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle diagnostics, repairs and scheduled servicing to manufacturer standards.
- Perform MOT testing and other statutory inspections.
- Use state‑of‑the‑art workshop equipment and follow established processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues about service status and recommendations.
Required profile
- Qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry‑recognised certification.
- Team‑player comfortable in a fast‑paced, process‑driven setting.
- Motivated, dedicated and highly organised with the ability to meet timescales.
- Strong commitment to health and safety and use of personal protective equipment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic equipment.
