Vehicle Technician – Full‑time in Yeovil

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop in Yeovil. This permanent, full‑time role offers the chance to work with modern equipment, receive industry‑leading training, and contribute to a high‑performing team delivering top‑quality vehicle servicing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using specialist tools.
• Perform vehicle health checks and recommend additional work where appropriate.
• Operate manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop management systems.
• Complete job cards and documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence (MOT licence advantageous but not essential).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
