Vehicle Technician – Monday to Friday, No Weekends

About the role

Vertu Peugeot Oxford is expanding and seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team. The position offers a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend work, allowing a healthy work‑life balance while supporting a busy dealership environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain a range of Peugeot and other brand vehicles.
• Perform routine servicing, fault finding and component replacement.
• Carry out EV electrical work following dedicated training.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and ensure tools are correctly stored.
• Provide high‑quality service to internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Formal automotive qualification – City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a franchised workshop.
• Own set of professional tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Automotive diagnostics and repair.
• EV electrical systems knowledge.
• Use of personal tool set.
• Full UK driving licence.
