Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester – Full‑time

About the role

Halfords Garage Services is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join its new Fusion Centre in Salisbury. You will work in a modern facility delivering high‑quality MOT tests and a full range of vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs on light vehicles.
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and ensure vehicle safety.
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused service.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
• Valid MOT testing licence.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points.
• Proven experience as a mechanic in an automotive workshop.
