Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our Fallings Park practice in Wolverhampton. The role offers the chance to work within a modern, fully equipped facility and to shape your own working pattern to suit personal needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to small animal patients and deliver excellent client service.
• Collaborate with the wider practice team, including advanced practitioners and nursing staff.
• Continuously develop your clinical expertise and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Support the practice’s clinical culture and contribute to ongoing team development.

Required profile

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in small animal medicine.
• Confident, motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Committed to delivering high-standard patient and client care.

Required skills

• Experience with Idexx laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in using ultrasound, dental X-ray and digital X-ray systems.
• Familiarity with CT scanning, endoscopy and laparoscopic techniques.
• Ability to operate modern surgical theatres and related diagnostic tools.
