About the role

The Vice President – Acceptance Consulting leads Mastercard’s Acceptance Consulting vertical worldwide, owning revenue growth across advisory, innovation, and deployment. This senior leader shapes market narratives for acquirers, PSPs, PayFacs, merchants, fintechs, and government clients, turning deep domain expertise into scalable consulting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain in‑depth market intelligence on acceptance trends and act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite clients across traditional acquirers, fintechs, PSPs, merchants, and government entities.
• Lead high‑impact client workshops, executive sessions, and strategic pursuits.
• Define, build, and evolve the Acceptance Consulting product roadmap, packaging consulting IP into repeatable solutions.
• Drive bundling of consulting with adjacent Mastercard products (Gateway, Cloud Commerce, MPGS) and embed advisory directly into Mastercard platforms.
• Design innovative commercial and pricing models, including subscription, outcome‑based, and pay‑for‑performance approaches.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies, regional playbooks, and sales enablement materials in partnership with Sales and Business Development teams.
• Serve as a client‑facing expert sales resource when required and refresh sales narratives.
• Own end‑to‑end P&L, revenue performance, product lifecycle, and partnership with A&CS for the Acceptance Consulting vertical.

Required profile

• Proven leadership of a global consulting or advisory practice.
• Credible, trusted advisor to senior executives in the payments ecosystem.
• Experience shaping market narratives and delivering strategic client workshops.
• Ability to define product strategy, create scalable consulting solutions, and integrate them into platform offerings.
• Track record of developing go‑to‑market plans and enabling sales teams.
• Full accountability for P&L and revenue growth of a consulting vertical.
