Vice President – EMEA Corporate Lending Legal

About the role

The Legal Lending Practice Group for EMEA at JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to join its Corporate Lending team in London. You will advise on a broad range of corporate lending transactions, from large and mid‑cap deals to syndicated, leveraged and distressed finance.

Key responsibilities

• Document, review and advise on corporate lending matters, including loan agreements and related contracts.
• Support EMEA business groups, especially the French corporate lending franchise, throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Collaborate with risk, control and global legal teams to maintain documentation standards and monitor regulatory developments.
• Share expertise across the legal function worldwide and provide training to business and control functions.
• Participate in firm‑wide legal projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to manage a large volume of transactions and internal client queries in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented and results‑driven.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LMA‑based lending documentation.
• Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, providing summaries and abstracts.
