Vice President – Senior Auditor

About the role

BNY is looking for a Vice President, Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team in London. You will lead high‑impact audit engagements, focusing on finance reporting and risk‑based assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or perform audits of finance reporting activities and serve as a team member on audit assignments.
• Plan, execute, and report on risk‑focused audits in line with internal policies, methodologies, and standards.
• Ensure testing is adequate and accurate to evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop work papers, flowcharts, and analyses to identify control gaps and regulatory inconsistencies.
• Communicate audit findings clearly to management and auditees.
• Apply advanced analytical problem‑solving techniques and guide others in resolving complex issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field preferred.
• Relevant work experience required; prior audit experience preferred.
• Advanced degree (PhD) in Math, Statistics, Physics, Economics or Engineering is a plus.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
