Volunteer Mini-Bus Driver - Aged Care Home

About the role
HammondCare, an independent Christian charity providing aged care services, is looking for a volunteer mini-bus driver for its residential aged care home in Cardiff. With your help, elderly residents will enjoy fun and relaxing short outings around the local community, accompanied by a care staff member who supports them and looks after their needs throughout the trip.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the mini-bus on short trips around the local community with elderly residents
- Accompany residents on outings that last between 1 and 2 hours
- Provide a friendly presence that makes each outing a highlight of their week
Required profile
- Aged 18 or over
- Safe driving record
- NDIS screening arranged and paid for by HammondCare
- Availability to drive during the week, Monday to Friday, between 10:30am and 12pm and 1pm and 2:30pm
