Volunteer Speaker

About the role

Christian Aid is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join its Speaker team across England, Scotland and Wales. As a Volunteer Speaker you will use your presentation abilities to share the impact of Christian Aid projects, inspire people to give, act and pray, and put your faith into action.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging talks about Christian Aid projects in churches and community venues.
• Encourage audiences to support the charity through donations, advocacy and prayer.
• Represent Christian Aid as an ambassador, promoting its mission and values.
• Participate in training sessions, online volunteer meetings and supporter conferences.

Required profile

• Strong, engaging presentation skills and the ability to inspire others.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the work of Christian Aid and its justice‑focused mission.
• Willingness to undergo an informal interview, basic DBS/PVG check and provide two references.
• Legal right to volunteer in the UK (appropriate visa).
