Waiter/Waitress – Private Members Club at National Gallery

About the role

Searcys is seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join the team at its newly opened Private Members Club located in the historic National Gallery. You will support floor managers, run sections, and deliver seamless food and drink service to members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, attentive service to all guests.
• Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with restaurant and event set‑up and breakdown.
• Mentor and develop junior commis waiters.
• Follow company policies, health & safety, and service standards.
• Liaise with kitchen, bar, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest requests courteously and refer issues to the line manager when needed.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Passion for food and beverage service.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
