About the role

The Ward Assistant is a vital member of the ward team, providing both clinical and clerical support to nursing staff. Two positions are available – one full‑time (36 hours per week) and one part‑time (21.24 hours per week) – working under indirect supervision within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks on the ward.
• Perform clerical duties such as patient record handling, scheduling, and stock management.
• Maintain a clean and safe ward environment in line with NHS standards.
• Support the multidisciplinary team by communicating patient needs and updates.

Required profile
