Data Entry & GP Liaison Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised Data Entry & GP Liaison Administrator to support our Weight Loss Clinic in Runcorn. The role blends accurate patient data management with regular communication between MedPal, GP practices and patients, ensuring that clinical information is available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update patient information in clinical systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Process referrals, clinical decisions and correspondence, recording them in the appropriate databases.
• Request, receive and manage patient data shared by GP practices, complying with data‑protection regulations.
• Review documentation for completeness, flagging any discrepancies for follow‑up.
• Provide clinicians with the medical information required for patient consultations.
• Track GP data‑sharing requests and ensure timely responses.
• Maintain records of information‑governance requirements.
• Liaise professionally with GP surgeries, NHS services, patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Produce reports and manage spreadsheets to support service delivery.
• Uphold GDPR, confidentiality and company policy standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in administration or data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Confident communication with GP practices and healthcare professionals.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and data security.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Experience in a healthcare, NHS or private medical environment is desirable.
