Warehouse Late Shift Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Late Shift Manager to lead our evening operations in Tonbridge. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are accurately picked, checked and loaded for next‑day deliveries, while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the late‑shift warehouse team (Monday‑Friday, 19:30‑03:30).
• Ensure customer orders are picked, verified and loaded on time.
• Collaborate with Customer Services, Goods In and Drivers to keep operations flowing.
• Monitor productivity, quality and accuracy against KPIs.
• Handle staff performance, training, recruitment and onboarding.
• Produce and review daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, space utilisation and equipment use.
• Maintain health, safety, housekeeping and security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role, preferably on a late shift.
• Proven leadership ability with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing performance metrics and KPIs in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Commitment to high health and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and general IT tools.
