Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead end‑to‑end warehouse activities for a fast‑moving consumer goods business in Manchester. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will shape the next phase of the operation as it expands to a 24/7 model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse managers.
• Drive operational performance, service levels and productivity.
• Embed structure, consistency and accountability across the warehouse.
• Support cultural and process improvements.
• Build management capability and succession planning.
• Facilitate the transition to a 24/7, seven‑day operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse operations in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
• Strong people‑management and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to lead through change and growth.
• Collaborative, hands‑on leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset focused on sustainable results.
