Warehouse Operative – Fairford

About the role

TT Electronics in Fairford is looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join its stores and warehousing department. You will rotate through picking, kitting, goods receipt, dispatch and local deliveries while supporting both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and kit components from stock for shop‑floor or dispatch orders.
• Enter accurate data into the ERP system, handling material movements, stock adjustments and Minimum Order Quantity transactions.
• Receive internal orders, such as machined parts and finished assemblies, and update inventory levels.
• Conduct daily stock takes and weekly shelf‑life checks.
• Support stock disposal, customer stock takes and maintain safe storage complying with health & safety standards.
• Perform occasional local deliveries.
• Record defective or damaged goods on the Discrepant Materials Report and remove them from stock.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Clean driving licence.
• Prior experience in a similar warehouse role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
