About the role
Our client, a well‑established manufacturing facility in Salisbury, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations. This full‑time, on‑site role involves handling orders, stock, and ensuring smooth flow of components to the production line.
Key responsibilities
- Pick orders to meet production and customer requirements.
- Kitting of components for production runs and customer shipments.
- Despatch, pack and organise stock for outgoing orders.
- Conduct stock checks, inspect goods and maintain accurate records.
- Operate a forklift and company van when required.
- Work to defined picking targets and time frames.
Required profile
- Accurate completion of paperwork, including issue notes and quality control sheets.
- Experience with kitting/kit packing for production.
- Ability to meet tight picking targets.
- Strong stock management and organisational skills.
- Competence with CRM and IT systems for record keeping.
