Warehouse Operative – PM Shift

About the role

Booker Group is hiring Warehouse Operatives for its Fareham distribution centre on a PM shift schedule. The role involves fast‑paced order handling, ensuring accurate picking and packing to meet customer delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders using a handheld terminal.
• Receive, store and stack stock safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Operate LLOP (low‑level order picker) and FLT (forklift truck) equipment where trained.
• Ensure stock integrity and meet daily order targets.

Required profile

• Ability to work 5 days a week from 2 pm to 10 pm.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly.
• Commitment to completing a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with handheld picking terminals.
• Basic knowledge of LLOP and FLT equipment operation (training provided).
