Warehouse Team Manager - Nights

About the role

The Warehouse Team Manager – Nights will lead, motivate and manage a team of around 35 warehouse operatives on the night shift. You will be responsible for safe, efficient and accurate picking and dispatch of goods in a fast‑paced distribution environment. The role is essential for meeting productivity targets while maintaining high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the night‑shift warehouse team, ensuring clear communication and consistent standards.
• Drive operational performance to meet productivity, accuracy and service level targets.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to handle daily workload and peak demand.
• Monitor KPIs such as pick rates, accuracy and attendance, taking corrective action when needed.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across receiving, storing, picking and dispatch processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a large warehouse team, preferably in a night‑shift environment.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, covering additional shifts when required.
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on safety.
