Warehouse Team Manager – Nights

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to lead the night shift team at our Fareham distribution centre. You will be responsible for motivating and managing around 35 operatives to ensure safe, efficient and accurate picking and dispatch of goods in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage a night‑shift warehouse team (approximately 35 staff).
• Drive operational performance to meet productivity, accuracy and service‑level targets.
• Plan and allocate resources to handle daily workload and peak demand.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as pick rates and dispatch accuracy.
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking and dispatch processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and budgetary constraints.
• Promote continuous improvement and maintain high operational standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution teams, preferably on a night shift.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, health & safety and KPI‑driven performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work 10 pm‑6 am, five days a week, with occasional shift coverage.
