Weekend Concierge

About the role

A new Day Concierge is being recruited for a luxury apartment site in Wandsworth (SW18) with 433 exclusive apartments. The concierge is the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, and works weekends: Friday 07:00-19:00 and Saturday and Sunday 09:00-17:00. The salary is up to £20,093 per year (£13.80 per hour). An SIA licence is desirable but not mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet residents, visitors and contractors courteously and professionally.
• Act as first point of call for telephone, intercom, email and face-to-face enquiries.
• Receive and log parcels and packages, and hand them over to residents or authorised third parties with ID or written authority.
• Log written instructions and verbal requests (by email) under the relevant apartment number on the concierge database, and file them in the Outlook folder.
• Register new residents, enter their details on the database, and email them their login details and a welcome letter.
• Programme door entry fobs and key cards, and enter telephone numbers on intercom panels.
• Forward resident complaints and lease breaches to the Building Manager, and arrange access for PMM contractors.
• Perform end-of-shift parcel and key audits, and weekly fire alarm, lift alarm and other regulatory tests and inspections.
• Be familiar with fire activation and evacuation procedures, and update handover notes at the end of each shift.
• Carry out site inspections and patrols, report issues and take a proactive approach to resolving health and safety risks.
• Follow company policies on dress, health and safety, and do not consume alcohol during shifts.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' residential concierge experience at a luxury establishment.
• Exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and able to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues.
