Hospitality Assistant – Catering, Bracknell

About the role

The Hospitality Assistant works in the Partner dining room at the Bracknell campus, providing food to Partners. The role is full-time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 14:30) and pays £13.30 per hour. Time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 attracts night premium of £3.75 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a team to deliver a smooth catering service
• Provide a friendly, welcoming attitude to Partners
• Follow Health and Safety at Work Act and Food Safety Act procedures
• Store and replenish stock properly and reduce food wastage by rotating stock carefully
• Resolve issues promptly and maintain personal hygiene standards
• Provide prompt service on a cashless till and clean and re-stock vending machines

Required profile

• Previous catering experience
• Experience in a forward-thinking, customer-facing environment
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Desirable

• Food Safety Level 2 and 3
