Wills and Probate Chartered Legal Executive – Private Client Supervisor

About the role

This position is a senior supervisory role within a private client estate‑planning team. You will oversee the preparation of wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney, ensuring technical and legal accuracy while supporting a balanced, non‑billable workload.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and technical professionals to progress client files.
• Review and quality‑assure wills, trusts and LPA documentation against client instructions and regulatory standards.
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to colleagues, helping to meet estate‑planning objectives.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and internal processes.
• Support ad‑hoc queries from the wider team to deliver a high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX or STEP member, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, wills drafting and tax considerations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to build positive relationships across a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
