Workshop Forklift Engineer – Horsham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Forklift Engineer to join our busy engineering operation in Horsham. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material-handling equipment, with strong earning potential through unlimited overtime and bonus schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair electric, diesel and LPG forklift trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and safety inspections.
• Perform breakdown repairs quickly to minimise equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and compliance checks.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a fast‑paced workshop environment.
• Strong mechanical and fault‑finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance or Vehicle Repair (desirable but not essential).
