About the role
Keyline, a civils specialist supplier part of the Travis Perkins Group, is hiring a Yard Assistant in Wimborne, Dorset. The role is customer-facing and involves helping customers choose from a wide range of high-quality products while keeping the yard running safely. Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00.
Key responsibilities
- Be helpful and friendly to customers, whom you will likely know by name
- Ensure the safe and correct movement of materials around the branch
- Load and unload customer and company vehicles
- Offload supplier deliveries into stock
- Pick orders
- Maintain safety standards
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and friendly, with great interpersonal skills
- Flexible personality, happy to communicate face to face with customers
- A fork lift truck licence is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
