About the role
We are looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team in Rayleigh on a full‑time temporary basis. You will work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:00, handling incoming and outgoing goods in a busy yard environment.
Key responsibilities
- Safely load and unload goods from trucks, containers and other vehicles.
- Perform general yard work, including sorting, stacking and organising products according to company standards.
- Verify quantities and quality of items received and shipped.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hazard‑free loading area.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols.
Required profile
- Some previous labouring or manual handling experience.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to follow instructions.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £12.71.
- Fixed Monday‑Friday shift from 08:00 to 16:00.
- Temporary full‑time contract with the possibility of extension.
