About the role
We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to find an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. This full‑time, temporary position starts in September and offers the chance to inspire young learners across Key Stage 1.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
- Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback and track attainment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents to support each child’s development.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and nurture a positive classroom culture.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach to teaching.
