Zero Trust Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior Zero Trust Architect to design, implement and optimise Zero Trust security architectures for a leading consulting client. You will work across users, devices, applications and data to build secure, identity‑centric solutions that align with modern cloud and network strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of enterprise‑wide Zero Trust architectures, including secure access patterns, SSO, MFA and least‑privilege models.
• Create security blueprints, reference architectures and identity‑centric controls that meet Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with networking teams to modernise WAN, remote access and SASE frameworks.
• Deploy, configure and fine‑tune Zero Trust technologies such as policy engines, app segmentation, client connectors and cloud firewalls.
• Integrate Zero Trust solutions with identity providers, SIEM/SOAR platforms and endpoint security tools.
• Drive the client’s Zero Trust strategy, governance and roadmap, conducting threat modelling, gap assessments and risk evaluations.
• Provide technical mentorship, training and operational support to internal security and networking teams.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain UK security clearance.
• Proven ability to design and implement large‑scale security solutions in enterprise environments.

Required skills

• Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX or equivalent Zero Trust platforms.
• Zscaler Client Connector, App Connectors, Cloud Firewall, Cloud Sandbox, DLP, CASB.
• Deep knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks, identity and access management, modern network design and endpoint security.
