Accounts Payable Specialist – London

About the role

The Accounts Payable specialist will manage financial transactions, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time. You will join a fast‑growing finance team within a global business expanding its international presence.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, ensure correct coding and timely payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts‑payable records in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing month‑end accounts‑payable reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to uphold financial policies and procedures.
• Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve payment‑related issues.
• Support audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the function.

Required profile

• Experience in a global business (highly desirable).
• Multi‑currency invoice processing experience.
• Working towards an ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Problem‑solving ability with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Effective communication for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
