Accounts Senior – South Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Senior to join a fast‑growing accountancy and advisory practice in South Manchester. You will manage a portfolio of clients, deliver high‑quality accounts and tax services, and contribute to the firm’s collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Service a portfolio of clients, tracking job progress and billing targets.
• Prepare accounts for limited companies and complete self‑assessment tax returns.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Monitor deadlines, ensure compliance with financial regulations and deliver work to a high standard.
• Build positive relationships with clients and the practice.
• Handle client queries promptly and support colleagues and trainees.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ experience in a practice environment.
• AAT qualification or higher.
• Experience preparing self‑assessment and corporation tax returns.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to advise clients.
• Full UK driving licence.
