Activities Co‑ordinator – Residential Care Home

About the role

The Activities Co‑ordinator will work at St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home in Ewerby, delivering engaging, person‑centred activities for 42 residents. You will plan, organise and lead daily programmes that enhance wellbeing and foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a weekly activity plan each Monday and ensure it is shared with staff and displayed publicly.
• Plan, organise and lead a variety of activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Provide one‑to‑one comfort and companionship for residents unable to join group sessions, documenting interactions.
• Support residents experiencing confusion or behavioural challenges using effective distraction techniques and activity baskets.
• Maintain and upload the activity calendar to the home’s Facebook page each week.
• Act as an ambassador for Jasmine Healthcare both inside and outside the home, sharing ideas with the wider Activities Co‑ordinator community.
