Adult Care Trainer – Hybrid (Sussex & Surrey)

About the role

Join an award‑winning training provider as an Adult Care Trainer, supporting apprentices across Sussex and Surrey. You will work Monday to Friday with a blend of home‑based days and visits to care homes, helping shape the next generation of care professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Guide apprentices in care homes and online, building their practical skills and confidence.
• Design and adapt individual learning plans to meet each apprentice’s needs.
• Demonstrate how functional skills such as maths and English apply to daily care tasks.
• Maintain regular communication with employers about apprentice progress.
• Handle administrative duties efficiently using Google Suite and related platforms.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Care Manager, Registered Manager or Deputy Care Manager.
• Level 5 qualification in Adult Care or an equivalent credential.
• Level 2 (GCSE) in English and maths, or a willingness to achieve it.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for regional travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
