About the role
We are looking for a qualified teacher to deliver after‑school tuition in Maths and English for GCSE students. The role offers flexible, part‑time hours that fit around your schedule and allows you to support young people in achieving their exam goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and curriculum‑aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs.
- Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
- Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt lessons to different learners.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
