AI Education Consultant – Physics (QTS) – Part‑time Remote

About the role

We are seeking a qualified secondary physics teacher to join a national AI education project. Working remotely, you will help create and evaluate benchmarks that ensure AI tutoring tools are scientifically accurate, pedagogically sound, and safe for UK students.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic student‑teacher dialogue scenarios covering forces, energy, waves and electricity.
• Develop criteria and rubrics to test AI responses against physical laws and mathematical calculations.
• Score AI outputs and provide feedback to improve accuracy and conceptual clarity.
• Collaborate with the project team to refine standards for AI‑driven science education.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with verified experience teaching secondary Science/Physics in England.
• Specific experience teaching Year 9 physics.
• Own laptop, reliable internet connection and ability to use web‑based platforms.
• References confirming teaching experience.

Required skills

• Comfort with formatting equations and scientific notation online.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools.
