APEX Business Support Analyst – 12‑Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports a leading global financial group’s Apex Securities Finance platform. Based in London with hybrid working, you will act as a trusted partner for traders and front‑office staff, delivering functional support and safe enhancements for Repo and Securities Borrowing & Lending products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1, L2 and L3 functional and technical support for the Apex Securities Finance platform, ensuring rapid resolution of trader queries.
• Analyse complex front‑office requirements, produce detailed functional specifications and design practical solutions for BAU initiatives and small‑to‑medium projects.
• Represent the support function in project delivery meetings, bridging technology teams, global support networks and business stakeholders.
• Conduct rigorous functional testing, validate results and manage releases to guarantee zero risk to the production environment.
• Maintain system configurations, align with regulatory changes and document solutions to share best practices globally.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience supporting Apex Securities Finance applications within an investment‑banking context.
• Deep understanding of Fixed Income trading desks and the end‑to‑end trade lifecycle of Repo and Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) products.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
