Area Sales Executive – Industrial Products & Automotive

About the role

This remote‑based position is focused on driving new business and nurturing existing accounts for a leading German manufacturer of premium coated abrasives. You will cover the North of England and the Midlands, providing technical advice and product demonstrations to automotive and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business across the North of England and the Midlands.
• Manage and grow existing customer and distributor relationships.
• Provide technical support and consultancy on premium abrasive products.
• Conduct product demonstrations, customer trials and application training.
• Support body shops, manufacturers and industrial clients in process optimisation.
• Operate autonomously within an assigned territory.

Required profile

• Proven technical sales or business development experience in abrasives, automotive refinishing, body shops, industrial consumables, tooling, coatings or manufacturing.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Base salary £35,000‑£40,000 per year plus OTE up to £55k‑£60k.
