Area Sales Manager – Employee Benefits & Vehicle Rental

About the role

Arnold Clark is seeking an Area Sales Manager based in Manchester to promote employee‑benefits solutions and short‑term vehicle rental services across the UK. The role combines business development with account management in a fast‑moving automotive leasing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Present the benefits of contract hire, salary sacrifice and vehicle rental products to new and existing clients.
• Qualify customer requirements and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and manage existing accounts.
• Stay informed on industry news, trends and product developments.
• Deliver targets efficiently and professionally, ensuring high standards of service.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling contract hire, salary sacrifice and vehicle rental solutions.
• Self‑motivated, commercially aware and enthusiastic about meeting sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to build long‑term client relationships.

Required skills

• Knowledge of salary‑sacrifice schemes and vehicle leasing products.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Attention to detail and professional manner.
• Valid driving licence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems (nice to have).
