Asset Controller

About the role

Flogas is seeking an Asset Controller to manage and control LPG cylinders, tanks and related assets across the UK. You will work closely with sales, site managers and external agencies to ensure assets are tracked, retrieved and handled safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cylinder turnover, allocations and volume growth by customer and sector.
• Conduct annual reviews with large distributors and national accounts.
• Visit sites regularly and liaise with Site Managers to ensure proper asset management.
• Support Operations in timely retrieval of cylinders from waste streams and ex‑customers.
• Collaborate with waste‑management representatives, UKLPG, police, legal, fire brigade and port authorities on unauthorised handling, filling, disposal or export of cylinders.
• Gather and collate evidence for investigations related to cylinder misuse.

• Experience working in a professional, customer‑focused environment.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong, persuasive and personable communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
