Assistant Manager - Digital Regulation Assurance - Audit & Assurance

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Digital Regulation Assurance team in London. You will support delivery of projects that help major digital platforms meet new regulatory requirements and build trust with regulators and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional services across Algorithm and AI Assurance focus areas.
• Deliver assurance over large technology platforms for compliance with regulations such as the Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, and EU AI Act.
• Complete control reviews and testing using Deloitte methodologies and tools.
• Support day‑to‑day project delivery, client interaction and regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare deliverables including written reports, working papers and summary analyses.
• Ensure all work meets quality and risk standards while collaborating in diverse, inclusive teams.

Required profile

• Keen interest in digital regulatory requirements (e.g., DMA, DSA, AI Act).
• Experience in internal or external audit, including risk assessment and control testing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, especially for senior stakeholder deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical capability with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Project management experience, including managing junior staff and reporting timelines.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Motivated, positive attitude and interest in responsible AI‑enabled tools.
