Assistant Site Manager

About the role

The role supports the Site Manager on a flagship residential development of 123 traditional‑build homes in Gravesend, Kent. You will help ensure the project runs smoothly, safely and to the highest quality standards while contributing to the local community’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day‑to‑day operations across the 123‑unit scheme.
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers to keep the programme on schedule and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor site safety and ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Carry out quality inspections, identify issues and resolve them promptly to uphold workmanship standards.
• Support site documentation, reporting and progress tracking.
• Build strong relationships with the site team, contractors and stakeholders.
• Help drive productivity, problem‑solve on‑site and maintain a positive working environment.
