Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join a leading accountancy practice in Central Manchester. You will work with a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors, delivering audit, accounting and advisory services while developing strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing external audits from planning to completion.
• Review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, providing technical guidance.
• Handle technical queries and support business advisory work.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven experience leading and managing audits from start to finish.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• UK residency and eligibility to work in the UK.
