Audit Manager – Not For Profit

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for not‑for‑profit organisations. You will work within BDO’s Audit team, delivering high‑quality, transparent audits that stakeholders can rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and review audit assignments for not‑for‑profit clients.
• Supervise and coach junior staff on site, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with senior managers, directors and partners, communicating findings and recommendations.
• Prepare accurate and transparent audit reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and anti‑money‑laundering regulations.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent.
• University degree or CTS qualification.
• Proven experience supervising junior audit staff.
• Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Understanding of anti‑money‑laundering regulations and current economic trends.
