About the role
We are seeking an Auditor to join our London team on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting audit and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance activities across a range of business functions within a leading property‑casualty insurer.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in audits and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance reviews across various business functions.
- Identify risks, test controls and document findings related to financial integrity, operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute testing procedures, analyse results and formulate fact‑based conclusions and recommendations.
- Prepare audit documentation in line with internal audit standards and corporate methodology.
- Contribute to issue reporting and support the improvement of processes and controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
- Previous auditing experience in insurance or financial services, or a financial operations background.
- Working knowledge of risk assessment, accounting and auditing principles.
- Qualified or finalist Accountant or Internal Auditor preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to use Computer‑Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) to improve test efficiency.
- Basic understanding of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements.
