Bank Care Assistant

About the role

Prime Life is seeking compassionate individuals to join the team at Peaker Park Care Village as Bank Care Assistants. This flexible, bank‑staffed position supports 137 residents with a range of age‑related health, physical and mental health needs, including dementia care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and bedtime routines.
• Support mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobilisation using mobility aids and specialist equipment.
• Provide companionship, accompany residents on outings and appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
• Welcome family members, respond to enquiries, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a difference.
• Patience, understanding and respect for individual abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts across a 7‑day week.
• Prior care experience is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly pay from £12.96 to £13.32 depending on qualifications.
• Shift patterns between 8 am‑8 pm or 8 pm‑8 am.
• Fully funded DBS, comprehensive holiday pay and a Refer‑a‑Friend bonus up to £250.
