Bank Community Staff Nurse – Flexible NHS Role

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse to join our community nursing bank. This flexible, zero‑hours position supports the community nursing service by delivering high‑quality care in patients' homes or clinic settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients with diverse conditions, including wound care, diabetic management, catheter care and palliative care.
• Develop and implement person‑centred care plans and organise patient‑related resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and access specialist support as needed.
• Attend corporate and bank induction and up to 1.5 days of face‑to‑face training.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to NMC standards.

Required profile

• NMC‑registered Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a Diploma or BSc in Nursing.
• Minimum 6 months acute care experience and experience in community nursing.
• Strong communication, time‑management and independent working abilities.
• Full UK/EU driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and able to work unsupervised.
