Behaviour Mentor – Support Secondary Schools in Birmingham & Solihull

About the role
Aspire People Limited is seeking enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to work across secondary schools in Birmingham and Solihull. You will help pupils engage positively with their education by building strong relationships and supporting classroom and playground behaviour.
Key responsibilities
- Support students with behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff to deliver targeted interventions.
- Promote and model positive behaviour across the school environment.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Experience working with young people is desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Calm, resilient and professional approach to challenging behaviour.
- Background in education, youth work, coaching, care or mentoring is welcomed.
Required skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour confidently.
What we offer
- Daily rate of £100‑£110, with potential up to £120 per day.
- Flexible, long‑term and permanent placement options.
- Weekly pay and dedicated support from a specialist secondary consultant.
