About the role
An opportunity has arisen in Manchester or London for an experienced BIM Manager to join a leading organisation within the built environment sector. The role will lead BIM and digital engineering delivery across a varied project portfolio, driving information management best practice, digital innovation, and effective model coordination from design through to project completion and asset handover.
Key responsibilities
- Lead BIM delivery across multiple projects, ensuring coordinated and high‑quality digital outputs.
- Develop and manage BIM models, drawings, and associated project information.
- Oversee model coordination, clash detection, information validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) and ensure effective document control and information governance.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and information management processes.
- Facilitate collaboration between design, construction, and client teams throughout project delivery.
- Drive the adoption of innovative digital technologies, automation tools, and data‑driven solutions.
- Support digital construction, commissioning, and asset information handover requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to BIM and CAD professionals.
- Promote consistency, best practice, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience in BIM management, digital engineering, or a similar leadership role within construction or the built environment.
- Strong working knowledge of BIM methodologies, information management principles, and industry standards.
- Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant BIM certifications and professional memberships are advantageous.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and drive successful project outcomes.
